Python 3 installation issues
Hi @j.f.j.laros ,
I was thinking of using the module for its semiglobal alignment method (as we discussed some weeks ago). However, I couldn't seem to get it working under Python 3 (for which all my other project scripts have been written).
I couldn't find any Python 2-specific code in the package (so I assume it should be ok for Python 3). The actual error itself, however, comes from the suds package:
Collecting tssv
Using cached tssv-0.4.0.tar.gz
Collecting biopython (from tssv)
Using cached biopython-1.68.tar.gz
Collecting fastools (from tssv)
Using cached fastools-0.13.0.tar.gz
Collecting suds (from tssv)
Using cached suds-0.4.tar.gz
Complete output from command python setup.py egg_info:

It hasn't been updated for a while (last release was 2010), so it seems like this dependency prevents tssv
from running on Python 3. The import error above is the first sign of incompatibility I see, but there may be more.
Anyway, I guess this won't be quick to fix without changing quite some part of tssv, but I thought you'd still be interested to know.
